Clint is originally from Maryville, TN and started running track in middle school as an attempt to make friends after moving to a new school. He had a successful high school career where he ran under 9 minutes for 2 miles, was a Tennessee state champion, and qualified for Footlocker Cross Country Nationals. Clint then joined the track and xc teams at Duke and spent more time in the training room than on the track over his four years in college. Leaving college with unfinished business, Clint has continued to compete since then and has set PRs at distances from 5K to the marathon in recent years. Clint recently finished 40th at the 2024 Olympic Trials Marathon after qualifying in 2023 by winning the Eugene Marathon. Clint lives in Arlington and works in data science at Meta.
