Dylan grew up in Wichita, Kansas attempting to follow in the footsteps of fellow Kansans Jim Ryun and Billy Mills, but even though he was a member of the 2011 Kansas 3A state champion cross country team he did not initially find individual success. After high school, Dylan left the Great Plains to attend the University of Maryland for his B.S in Kinesiology and then Georgetown University for his M.S. in Biotechnology where he ran on the club team for both schools but struggled with injury and was not able to reach his potential in running until well after graduating.

Since joining GRC, Dylan has significantly reduced his personal bests and has competed as part of the invited elite field at the 15km, 20km, and 25km USATF Championships. He also placed 85th overall at the 2023 Boston Marathon and was the first DC/Maryland/Virginia area resident to cross the finish line. By day, he works in regulatory affairs for a biotechnology company.

Personal Bests:
5000 – 15:07.35
10 Mile – 51:48
Half Marathon – 1:08:20
Marathon – 2:26:02
