Billy started running in high school after a broken arm prevented him from trying out for lacrosse. Despite not being a shining star as a Freshman, Billy really took to the sport and his teammates. However, things started to click junior year, and Billy finished second at the Massachusetts state meet and third at the New England indoor championships his senior year.
As a collegiate athlete at Harvard, Billy got 6th at Indoor Heps twice in the 800 and scored on the 4×800 several times. Post collegiately, Billy continued running, first with Central Park Track Club in New York while working as a paralegal, then with Boston Athletic Association while in law school. After law school, Billy took a break from serious training, yet he continued to run a few road races each year. Billy is excited to see what’s left in the legs and have fun training with a group again. By day, Billy is an attorney, a unique career in our nation’s capital.
