Sarah ran her first race at age 2, completing the Great Cow Harbor Fun Run 2k alongside her mom. Even before her first race, Sarah was born to be a runner considering that her parent’s met at a Northport Running Club beach party on Long Island in 1990. Throughout high school, Sarah competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track on the Northport High School teams, where she remains a school record holder in the DMR, 4x1600m and 4×8000. Sarah competed for the University of Michigan where she specialized in the 3000m steeplechase, a race in which she garnered 2nd Team All American accolades at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, OR. In the Big Ten Conference Championship her highest finish in the steeplechase was in 2018, finishing third to earn All-Big Ten Accolades and a bronze medal. Sarah was a 3-time qualifier for the NCAA Eastern Regional in the steeplechase (2016, 2017, 2018). Additionally, throughout her five years competing for the Wolverines, Sarah was a member of two Big Ten Championship cross country teams (2016, 2017) and one outdoor Big Ten Championship team (2016). As a member of GRC, Sarah is looking to transition to racing 5k and 10ks on the roads. Sarah works as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in their Health account.
