Erin joined her middle school cross country team as a way to stay in shape for the soccer season, and quickly realized that she was far better at distance racing than penalty kicks. Erin ran at Columbia University, where her proudest achievement was helping her team win an Ivy League Cross Country Championship title and earn a spot at the NCAA National XC Championship her senior year. On the track, Erin’s favorite event was the 3,000 meter steeplechase, in which she was a 3x NCAA East Regional Qualifier. After college, Erin moved to DC and was convinced to join GRC thanks to the positive peer pressure from her roommates. As a member of GRC, Erin has enjoyed getting back into the competitive running scene, and has focused on road races and longer distances. Outside of running, Erin is an Economist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
