Daniel started running in 7th grade after trying out for his middle school track team. He started his early career as a sprinter, where he ran the 100m – 400m in high school, and placed at state three out of four years in the 400 meter dash. He continued his track career at Georgetown University, where he focused on the 400m dash and had the opportunity to compete at Penn Relays in the DMR his sophomore year, where the team placed second. Post college, Daniel fully embraced distance running and changed gears to focus on the 1500m – 5000m range. While with GRC, Daniel plans to continue improving on his 1500, 5k and 10 mile times. Professionally, Daniel works in the software engineering industry and writes code for a living.
